The life of Serenity Fairchild
The Doujin
'Staff of Power' is the most well-known story that Serenity is involved
with. This is highly due to the doujin of the same name. In 2004,
Ashley emailed a girl by the alias of Kiko, whom she met through the
website ZeldaPower.com. She was a fan of Kiko's work, and, through a
few emails, the idea for the doujin was born. Kiko started drawing the
pages, and soon after receiving them, Ashley decided to add color to
them. As time went on, Kiko started having less and less time to
complete pages. Ashley felt bad about this, and offered to take the
proverbial reigns of the project herself. She continues to draw pages
to this day, and will continue to do so until either the story is
finished... or she dies of fatigue! *lol*
In mid-2005, Ashley also decided she wanted a cover for the doujin. She called upon her friend Ingie for this project. Ingie was happy to oblige, and created a beautiful design for the cover.
